Defensive player clearly lowers his head and goes helmet to helmet here…. CLEARLY lowered and led with helmet purposely to helmet
This was horrible. But it was a next play make up off the botched PI at the 15. They do this often with makeup calls. They called another horrible one on KC Monday off a turnover also when jones took carr down. They are consistent with the bs calls. League makes it clear as day they prioritize protecting QB investment and defenseless players and targeting resulting in bs calls
Can’t argue protect the players then get mad if it’s protecting the players and they make calls
Again, what HS or College or pop warner coach teach you in tackling and leading with the head? How do you properly tackle? What should the guys do?

When I played I was a QB and I took many hits no roughing the passer I don't remember it being called but then again, not remembering may be the result of the hits I took. Brady best get out before he gets carried out

As far as what should they do to not get hurt? I mean it’s simple, play or don’t play. Or remove the face mask. Take the face mask off and you won’t have this problem if people are so concerned. As fans you won’t like it.
If you don’t want your QB to get hurt just run the ball. If you don’t want a WR to get crushed eliminating 50% of the passing tree helps.
Don’t allow RB to lower the helmet if a tackler can’t do the same. Anybody who played football knows squaring up and leading with face mask feels like you will break your neck. It’s instinct and feels more protective to lower and go to the side for protection. You can’t get leverage squaring up head up face mask up. You get crushed.
It’s just a tough game. Hell everyone in HS should have to take a course called two a days. Semester of conditioning, being coached, dick in the dirt, get chewed out, smelly pads, heat rain cold. Definitely change the weak souls or the world today and instill some adversity, appreciation and ability to respect.

Hall will be fine. Kid was a stud at Iowa State for three years. Believe he was my 6th overall player in the draft. I commented on the NFL Draft thread on here before the draft on Hall in particular. I comp him to J Taylor. Figured he would be a late RD 1 guy. KC LAC BUF TB ideal spots RD 1 based off a need and SB potential teams. BUF I thought was his best fit. Jets 3rd pick RD 1 they traded back up I believe and I honestly thought it was for him.
Either way the Jets ended up with him and got a steal. Sauce was another great pick. Best CB I’ve seen in several years in CFB. If he didn’t play at Cincinnati, he would have garnered way more talk in CFB. That kid will be a true elite NFL player in 2-3 years if stays healthy and head straight. Size Speed Length like that at CB is rare.
Hall will be fine, Jets still need time to grow and the OL and Wilson are still too raw for a SB imo. They screwed so many drafts up till this year. And front office moves. Next year could possibly be a legit dance year team. In the meantime they still have swagger and talent to keep winning this year
